Earlier I posted a picture on my twitter:

Life’s full of disappointments, if this is a big one for you, than consider yourself lucky to have lived a life so happily. I have always held the notion that I should display an image of integrity, and in this case it means showing you that I am human too. I never claimed to be a angelic person, I have my life and my way of dealing with things…you have yours. And let me make it clear, I had no intention of creating any kind of reaction by simply posting a picture of me at the beach, finally having a relaxing day off.

Thank you to all of those who might be genuinely concerned for me, however I would love to be able to continue posting blogs and the likes that represent the real me. Not some dolled up version to satisfy someone’s need for a hero. I love you all, and I’m enjoying the connection that I have been able to share with you through my blog. I truly appreciate this.

Honestly, people need to realize that this is Dan’s life and his choices. While you may not like what he does, it’s his life. It irks me when people say that they loose respect or love or feel disappointed in him because of his choices. I understand that it’s harmful and that some of you are only lashing out against him because you care for his health but you have to respect his choices. I’m positive that if this was someone “normal” people wouldn’t give a shit. Just because Dan is out in the spotlight doesn’t mean that he has to be perfect or an example of all good. People should be happy that he’s being real, honest, and truthful unlike many people in this industry. There’s no reason for anyone to change their opinion on Dan because of his choices. After all, as I’ve stated, it’s his life and his choices. Not yours, think it over and realize that.
